Cott Completes Cliffstar Takeover

Cott Corporation has completed the acquisition of Cliffstar Corporation and its affiliated companies for $500m.

The beverage producer said Cliffstar is entitled to an additional contingent earn-out consideration of up to $55m.

Cliffstar is also entitled to $14m of deferred consideration, which will be paid within three years, the company said.

Cott financed the acquisition through its private placement offering of $375m.
