JBT Secures Citrus Processing Contract

JBT Corporation unit JBT FoodTech has won a $30m contract to supply citrus processing equipment to Louis Dreyfus Commodities in France.

The six-year operating lease agreement includes the conversion of the company’s Brazil and US-based citrus processing facilities to JBT FoodTech citrus juice extractors and associated equipment.

The project is scheduled to be complete by the second quarter end of 2013.

The French company markets its juice in nearly 70 countries in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America.
