Christian Hansen to Issue IPO

Christian Hansen Holdings, owned by French private equity firm PAI Partners, will raise around €450m ($605m) through an initial public offering, the company said.

The Danish food ingredients producer is planning to use the proceeds for the repayment of debts.

The company has appointed Credit Suisse and JP Morgan as joint global coordinators, and Credit Suisse, Danske Markets, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and SEB Enskilda as joint bookrunners.

The company said it is also planning for the listing on the Copenhagen bourse following its removal in July 2005, when it was bought by PAI Partners for DKK8.2bn ($1.5bn).

Christian Hansen reported a 43% increase in operating profits for its September to February first half to €57m ($75m).
