Avure Launch Low Volume Pasteurisation System

Avure Technologies has introduced a high-pressure processing pasteurisation system aimed at small / medium and seasonal food producers.

The 100l model costs just under $1m and is available with larger capacities with additional offload capability.

Operating at 87,000psi, the US-based company claim the QFP 100L-600 preserves the food’s natural flavour without heat or chemical preservatives.

Avure has supplied more than 100 systems worldwide, ranging from 2l laboratory models to 6,87l high-volume production units.

The company claims its six-and-a-half minute cycle can produce over 12,500kg of sliced meat in a typical 20-hour workday.
