Chicken intestines
The model S.50-808 is an easy to clean plastic modular conveyor belt with side guards for creating ‘zones’ for different types of chicken intestines, such as liver, heart, maw, etc.
In the example pictured to the right, cleanability was the ultimate goal for the customer, so they needed an uninterrupted flow of cleaning fluids. The ScanBelt S.50-808 was selected as it accomplishes this task with its ‘even lines’ on the underside of the belt, which prevent debris getting trapped.
Conveying and washing apples
The S.50-100 plastic modular conveyor belt is ideal for apple washing. This application calls for an open belt with plenty of drainage, while still maintaining a solid sprocket engagement with the underside of the belt.
Conveying and cooling buns
The double line of the S.100R plastic radius belt makes it ideal for the cooling of buns. The fact that the pitch on both the outer and the mid modules is the same makes it possible to maintain the position of the products through the curves and thus keep them in straight lines, also after the curve.
Conveying fish
Image 4 shows a bulk feeder for taking fish out of a tank. The bottom of the tank is fitted with a S.50-100 plastic modular conveyor belt with flights and round top for added impact strength and protection of the product.
Conveying cheese
The last image shows a plastic radius belt for the transport of whole blocks of cheese in connection with metal detection. The belt runs with integrated outside hooks/hold-downs.
