PAR releases SureCheck solution for improving food safety

US-based point of sale (POS) solutions provider ParTech (PAR), a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology, has released the new SureCheck Food Safety Solution 10.0.

The new PAR SureCheck platform is iOS and Android compatible and has been designed to offer an easy-to-use, purpose-built enterprise mobile system for food safety and task management applications.

The company has been working on developing the new Cloud-based solution for the past 18 months.

ParTech SureCheck senior vice-president and general manager John Sammon III said: “SureCheck v10.0 is a major release that is built for velocity, performance, and scalability.

“By incorporating new methods for wide-scale enterprise configuration, workflow and reporting into a single code base with the many insights and features incorporated over the past nine years, we are excited to be introducing v10.0 to new and existing customers alike.”

The platform allows users to monitor, document and trend operations that affect food quality, temperature monitoring and HACCP compliance, which are all required to protect brands and facilitate consumer confidence.

The latest version is equipped with customised software that allows companies to personalise their workflow checklists to achieve internal food safety requirements.

Furthermore, the solution is capable of photo / video documentation with additional notes for record-keeping and reporting purposes.

The system was initially introduced by PAR in 2009 and has subsequently been used to support companies worldwide in improving their food safety and operational efficiencies.
