M&As this week: NICHIMO, Glencoe Capital Management, Shi Yanjun

NICHIMO has entered an agreement with food company Marukyu Foods to acquire a 100% stake by purchasing all 600 shares.

Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in Japan.

NICHIMO owns multiple business segments, including food, marine, machinery, material, biotics and logistics.

Private equity firm Glencoe Capital Management has announced the acquisition of Robert Rothschild Farm, a producer of gourmet sauces, dips and spreads.

Both the entities involved in the transaction are based in the US.

Following the acquisition, Glencoe Capital will merge the Robert Rothschild Farm with its Clearbrook Farms, a US-based manufacturer of fruit-based food.

Shi Yanjun intends to buy a 100% stake in Jinzi Ham’s wholly-owned food subsidiary for CNY467.5m ($68.65m).

Based in China, Jinzi Ham is a fermented ham products supplier.
