M&As this week: Dragsbæk, Yum China Holdings

Orkla Food Ingredients subsidiary Dragsbæk has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire an 80% stake in SR Food.

The acquisition is expected to provide synergistic opportunities.

Both based in Denmark, Dragsbæk is a consumer foods producer, while SR Food manufactures charcuterie, fresh doughs, tapas and sliced meats.

Yum China Holdings is set to acquire a controlling stake in Beijing Shishang Renjia Networks Technology.

A definitive agreement for the same has been signed between the two companies.

Yum China Holdings is a licensee of quick-service restaurants, while Beijing Shishang Renjia Networks Technology is an online food ordering and delivery services provider.

Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in China.
