Deals this week: Post Holdings, Deli Spices

US-based ready-to-eat cereals maker Post Holdings has announced that its private offering of senior notes due 2025 will carry a coupon rate of 5.5% a year.

The offering will raise $1bn in gross proceeds, which are intended to be used for redeeming the company’s 6.75% senior notes due 2021 and its 7.375% senior notes due 2022, and for general corporate purposes.

The company has also announced another private offering of senior notes for the same purposes.

Due 2027, the notes will carry a coupon rate of 5.75% and will raise $750m in gross proceeds.

Both offerings are expected to close on 14 February.

Deli Spices has announced a joint venture (JV) with V. Mane Fils, a French flavour, fragrance and ingredients producer.

The JV will develop a meat and food ingredients supply hub and vertical integration.

Based in South Africa, Deli Spices is a meat processing and food ingredient company.
