Deals this week: Fooda, Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation, Harim Holdings

US-based food delivery services provider Fooda has secured $12.5m in a Series C funding round.

Valor Equity Partners led the round, which included participants such as Lightbank and KGC Capital.

Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation has agreed to issue new senior unsecured notes due 2027 and additional 5.75% senior unsecured notes due 2025 in a private offering.

Based in the US, Pilgrim’s Pride operates chicken processing plants.

South Korea-based Harim Holdings has agreed to raise KRW103.46bn ($91.04m) in rights offering of 33 million shares.

Engaged in the poultry business, the company has appointed Hana Financial Investment and Mirae Asset Daewoo as its advisors for the offering.

UK-based online food delivery platform owner and operator Roofoods has secured $385m in Series F round of funding led by Fidelity Management and Research Company and T. Rowe Price Associates.

The funding round included participants such as Accel Partners Management, Index Ventures, General Catalyst Partners, and DST Global Solutions.
