Amplify Snack Brands acquires snack food company Boundless Nutrition

Amplify Snack Brands has acquired Boundless Nutrition, a better-for-you snack company based in Austin, Texas, US.

Boundless Nutrition manufactures the Oatmega and Perfect Cookie brands, which will join Amplify’s portfolio of SkinnyPop Popcorn and Paqui Tortilla Chips.

Oatmega is marketed as a convenient, on-the-go protein snack bar. Claimed to be made with quality ingredients, including grassfed whey protein (14g) and offers a daily dose of omega-3s, Oatmega comes in eight flavours such as chocolate mint crisp and chocolate peanut crisp.

This product is currently sold across natural, grocery, mass and foodservice retailers in the US.

The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
