ADM and GLG partner to produce and market low-calorie sweeteners

Archer Daniels Midland Company has partnered with GLG Life Tech to manufacture, market, sell and distribute low-calorie stevia and monk fruit sweeteners worldwide.

According to the terms of the partnership agreement, GLG will be responsible for the production of low-calorie sweeteners, while ADM will be the sole marketer and distributor of these products to food and beverage companies.

ADM director for sugar and high-intensity sweeteners Rodney Schanefelt said: "More and more consumers are looking for healthier foods that are made with natural ingredients and taste great.
