Nestlé Health Science to acquire IM HealthScience business and brands 

Nestlé Health Science (NHSc) is purchasing IM HealthScience (IMH) business along with its brands, including IBgard, FDgard, Fiber Choice and REMfresh. 

Financial details of the deal are yet to be disclosed by either company.

Established in 2013 and based in Boca Raton, Florida, IMH develops health and wellness products. 

IMH product portfolio includes IBgard and FDgard, dietary management of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and functional dyspepsia (FD). 

In 2017, IMH expanded its product portfolio with acquisition and added prebiotic fibres, offered under Fiber Choice brand. 

Its REMfresh brand is continuous release-and-absorption melatonin (CRA-melatonin) supplement for sleep.

In June, NHSc signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Vital Proteins, which offers food products, supplements and beverages.
