Aptean acquires Schouw Informatisering to improve food ERP capability

Global software solutions provider Aptean has acquired Dutch firm Schouw Informatisering, strengthening its food ERP capabilities in Europe.

Financial details of the deal have not been revealed by either Aptean or Schouw Informatisering.

Netherlands-based Schouw Informatisering has been supporting the agriculture and food sectors in the Benelux region, as well as international customers through its partner network.

Schouw Informatisering offers food-specific enterprise-wide software solutions, such as Foodware365, which supports food customers in their day-to-day business.

With this acquisition, Aptean intends to fortify its presence, as well as expand its offerings, geographic reach and Cloud capabilities.

Last month, Aptean acquired Linkfresh, a UK-based provider of enterprise resource planning solutions for the food industry.
