Brand names such as Milka, Jacobs, Suchard and Mirabell are part of the long-standing tradition that forms the basis for Mondelez Österreich (former Kraft Foods). From here, the products are sent out around the world. Mondelez Österreich GmbH has not only a strong market position but also great innovative strength. The Austrians are now setting groundbreaking standards in manufacturing as well.

In Austria the innovative idea came up to develop an end-to-end IT integration model for chocolate mass production that can be used in numerous plants. Together with Mondelez Österreich, Siemens has developed a standard and has been implementing the concept step by step since 2009 in Bludenz / Austria, Upplands Väsby / Sweden and now also in Oslo / Norway.
