BLUE Software has announced the addition of three new software as a service (SaaS) products BLUE Essentials, BLUE Premier, and BLUE Enterprise to its label and artwork management (LAM) technology.
Just two months in, 2017 has already become a landmark year for BLUE Software, which is marking the year by transforming its enterprise-only application to an SaaS model to be leveraged by businesses of all sizes.
Founded in 1997 to develop solutions to simplify processes associated with packaging and label production, BLUE Software has grown to become one of the world’s leading LAM technology providers in the consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries, with offices in seven major cities across the globe.
BLUE Software’s chief executive officer (CEO) Ali Moosani said: "On behalf of all of BLUE’s outstanding employees, amazing customers, and incredible business partners, I am extremely proud to celebrate our 20th anniversary.
"We have come a long way since the company’s inception in 1997 and we are thrilled about our future as BLUE continues to innovate on our product offerings and thrive in new markets."
According to Moosani, BLUE Software’s three new innovative SaaS products will enable the company to gain new customers and provide a better LAM experience for its long-time customers.
Targeted toward small and mid-market businesses, BLUE Essentials and BLUE Premier will allow small to medium-sized enterprises (SME) to take advantage of the same market-proven technology that BLUE’s large enterprise customers have trusted and benefited from for years.
These business advantages include:
- Cross-functional collaboration on label and artwork from anytime and anywhere in the world
- Reduced artwork cycle time
- Increased right first time packaging and labelling
- Compliance and regulatory adherence
To expand its reach in the LAM marketplace, BLUE Software recently acquired both Viki Solutions and Design2Launch, creating the market’s leading SaaS-based LAM technology. As a result, BLUE Software’s customers benefit from cutting-edge functionality in workflow management, online proofing, and digital asset management, resulting in reduced time-to-market and reductions in recalls based on label and packaging errors.
