Now in its 23rd year, the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Awards honors those manufactures in Wisconsin, US, who have contributed to the community by good business practices, innovative processes and productivity enhancements. Only 40 Wisconsin companies were nominated for Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year (MOTY) in 2009. With a better looking economy, 2010 brought 53 nominees.
On Friday 4 February, the awards committee and co-sponsors visited Hydro-Thermal to present a plaque to honor and recognize the company for contributions made to the state of Wisconsin and the manufacturing industry of America and as a 2010 Manufacturer of the Year nominee.
“The accounting and advisory firm of Baker Tilly, the law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, and the business association Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce sponsor the MOTY awards program. The winners, selected by an independent panel of judges, will be announced at a black-tie banquet on 24 February 2011 at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee,” says the official press release from the organization.
