Nederman MikroPul Dry Particulate Separators, Cyclones and Reverse Pulse Dust Collectors
Australia-based Nederman MikroPul Pty Ltd provides high-quality environmental impact reduction systems, dry particulate separators and cyclones worldwide for the food processing industry.
As the original designer and developer of the reverse pulse cleaning system in 1956, Nederman MikroPul Pty Ltd has been working with its clients since 1920 to provide air pollution control (APC) systems to a wide variety of industries using innovative engineering designs, resulting in many patented products.
Cyclones and inertial separator dust collectors for separating dry particulate from gas streams
Nederman MikroPul Pty Ltd high-efficiency cyclones offer an economical method for separating dry particulate (five microns or larger) from gas streams. With more than 30 years of experience in cyclone research, design and successful commissioning, the company has the expertise to recommend the most suitable design to meet the demanding needs of food processing applications.
Inertial separators are the simplest type of dust collector. They are normally used to reduce the volume of particles from the mass flow of an air stream, or as a pre separator or pre filter for collectors handling greater efficiencies.
Cyclone dust collectors are large funnel shaped tubes that use air vortex motion. Dust and debris is pulled into the tangential inlet at high velocities, forcing material against the walls in a cyclonic motion. Larger particles slide down into the hopper while smaller particles and fine dust exit creating a dust-free environment for food handling.
Reverse pulse collectors, nuisance dust collection system, bag filters and collectors
Nederman MikroPul Pty Ltd invented the pulse jet dust collector in 1956 and has installed more than 160,000 systems in many industries.
The company has a comprehensive applications database, which allows it to review similar applications and select the best, proven solution for each customer’s operation.
Mikro-Pulsaire® bag-house collectors are available in many designs and material options to enable food grade filtration systems to be used.
Nederman MikroPul Pty Ltd’s patented Advantaflo® inlets can greatly improve performance, providing savings on capital equipment, operating expense and maintenance over the life of the equipment.
The company’s Long Bag™ technology provides greater capacity from the same footprint. The design also incorporates the use of nuisance dust collection systems, including explosive dusts, which are prevalent in the food processing industry.
Nederman MikroPul Pty Ltd’s engineers have completed in-house Nederman training and are certified combustible dust experts for ATEX codes.
Dust collection systems spare parts and emergency and aftermarket services
Nederman MikroPul Pty Ltd provides a variety of aftermarket services, including spare parts, planned and preventative maintenance services, as well as an emergency breakdown service. The company stocks a range of spare parts for all designs of dust collection systems to minimalise customer’s production down-time.
