Since the S+S microsite www.pet-recycling.com went online on 18 May 2011, more than 6,000 visitors have visited the site. In view of this successful start it was soon clear for S+S that additional language versions were required in addition to German and English, so the microsite is now also available in French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Turkish. To further extend the service provided by this site S+S has installed a news ticker that provides current information especially on the subject of PET recycling that Peter Mayer, S+S sales manager for sorting technology, obtains from all over the world.
Peter Mayer is pleased about the success of pet-recycling.com: "More than 6,000 visitors in six months are proof that there is an enormous need for information about PET recycling. Most visitors come from Germany, followed by Turkey, the USA, and India. The French, Spanish, and Portuguese versions represent a growth potential."
