Konica Minolta Sensing Americas (KMSA) will exhibit at IFT 2015 Food Expo at booth #4545. IFT 2015 will take place from 12-14 July at McCormick Place South in Chicago, Illinois.
Konica Minolta Sensing will showcase a variety of colour measurement instruments, including the CM-5 Spectrophotometer, CR-400 Chroma Meter and BC-10 Baking Meter.
Also on display will be the advanced NC-1 Non-Contact In-Line Colour Measurement System.
The NC-1 In-Line System is an automated, non-contact colour monitoring and control system built to measure the colour of products continuously and accurately as they move down the production line.
The high-performance, high-speed measurement system minimises downtime, rejects and reworks for manufacturers by notifying users in real-time when products are close to being out of specification or are completely out of specification.
This allows users to easily take action to help correct the problem to keep production on time.
Konica Minolta Sensing Sales, Colour and Appearance director Dan Randall said: "NC-1 in-line colour control provides the manufacturer with the unique opportunity to correct a colour problem before it gets to the end of the production line.
"The NC-1 reads colour at an extremely rapid rate, real-time, and without contact with the product.
"This real-time data becomes the trigger for process control, eliminating waste and improving product quality with real bottom-line savings to the plant."
Konica Minolta Sensing’s measurement instruments are built with cutting edge technology and held to the strictest accuracy and quality.
The BC-10 is a unique handheld colourimeter for simple measurement of the baking contrast in all kinds of bakery products including bread, buns, and cookies.
Since the introduction of the first Chroma-Meters they have become a ‘defacto standard’, especially in the food and ingredients industry, the CR-400 Chroma Meter series can be used to measure solids, pastes, granules, powders and liquids.
The CM-5 Spectrophotometer is an all-in-one system designed to have high precision when evaluating the colour of opaque, transparent and translucent samples, including solids, liquids, pastes, pills, powders and granules.
Konica Minolta colour measurement experts will conduct demonstrations at booth #4545 throughout the show.
The show hours at the McCormick Place South Center are Sunday, 12 July from 12pm-5pm, Monday 13 July from 10am-5pm and Tuesday 14July from 10am-4pm.
