Wilden, the worldwide leader in air-operated double-diaphragm pump technology and an operating company within Dover Corporation’s Pump Solutions Group (PSG™), has announced that its Saniflo™ Hygienic™ Series air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps meet the standards for sanitary operation needed in food-processing applications, such as the manufacture of fruit fillings.
Designed with food processors in mind, Saniflo Hygienic Series pumps offer the ease of maintenance, cleanability, portability, dead-head capable and self-priming attributes that are critical in several applications found within food operations. Saniflo Hygienic Series pumps have been designed specifically to meet the needs of both mainstream and specialized sanitary/hygienic applications. The most basic configurations offer high polish, flow-through liquid chamber design and no hidden areas in the check-valve seat area. Advanced™ configurations include integral piston PTFE diaphragms, the Wil-Gard™ diaphragm-monitoring system and a swivel stand that permits drainability.
The Saniflo Hygienic Series pumps are also equipped with the patent-pending Pro-Flo V™ air distribution system (ADS). The Pro-Flo V ADS provides reliable operation, high flow rates and superior anti-freezing characteristics.
