Pump Solutions Group (PSG®) is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Howden to the position of regional manager for the UK and Ireland. In this position, Mr. Howden will have responsibility for the Mouvex range of eccentric disc pump products in these important areas.
Mouvex has designed its eccentric disc pumps for use in the chemical, food and beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical industries, all of which have unique processes and associated pumping application challenges. Over the years, Mouvex eccentric disc pump technology has proven to be an efficient and effective problem-solver in the these applications, thanks to a level of operational performance that mimics traditional positive displacement pumps while also providing constant flow rates that are independent of both pressure and product viscosity.
Mouvex eccentric disc pumps can handle thin, abrasive, aggressive and higher-viscosity fluids, all while increasing productivity gains and energy savings. The pumps’ simple seal-free, non-magnetic transmission offers the ultimate in reliability against leakage, product loss and environmental contamination.
Additional design benefits include minimal shear damage to the pumped product, the capability to handle both solids and abrasives, and the ability to self-prime and dry-run coupled with the ability to fully clear lines of any residual product. The Mouvex range of eccentric disc pumps offer pulsation-free flow between 0.007m3/hr and 36m3/hr. Mouvex eccentric disc pumps for hygienic applications also offer CIP cleaning and SIP sterilization, while meeting both 3A and EHEDG certifications.
Charles Howden brings 26 years of experience working with rotating machinery to his new position, and for the past 15 years he was sales manager with Gardner Denver Limited, where he most recently managed the company’s industrial-blower business, with responsibility for territories in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Israel and South Africa.
