Bizerba presents the GLM-Bmaxx 120 automatic labeller for the logistics sector.
As an element of conveyor systems, it labels individual boxes, cartons and whole pallets. The labeller is equipped with an Ethernet port and can be easily integrated into existing networks.
It should be as simple, quick and flexible as possible to incorporate new labelling systems in existing conveyor equipment. The GLM-Bmaxx 120 can be adapted to the requirements of service providers in the logistics industry. It can be used as a stand-alone labeller for other belts and it can also be directly controlled by information technology (IT) systems.
In addition, businesses can use the machine as a sum value printer for price labelling lines.
Well integrated
The labeller can be connected to the CWL-Eco flexx dynamic weighing system and Bizerba dimensioning, weighing and scanning (DWS) systems via Ethernet.
Whether using a barcode, data matrix or quick response (QR) code, the labeller prints all types using a thermal transfer or thermal direct transfer process.
Due to UNICODE’s compatibility, character sets such as Chinese can be edited and printed. The printing unit can also be maintained and adjusted without any tools, which reduces downtime.
In the event of a fault, the system can be accessed worldwide via a remote service.
The GLM-Bmaxx 120 takes label rolls with a diameter of up to 300mm. This shortens setup times, especially for larger labels, as the rolls have to be changed less frequently. Changing the labels can also be carried out in a few simple steps.
In addition, the GLM-Bmaxx 120 also has a new PC-based hardware and two gigabytes of memory, which enables faster preparation of the label data. Operators can quickly initiate programme updates, line backups, full backups and service printouts via an external USB connection, or manage them centrally via Safety Service.
A further internal USB connection enables process data to be recorded and used for statistical analysis.
