Regal Beloit has announced it will be showcasing its System Plast® and SealMaster® products in Hall A5, Stand 539.
Regal will introduce new System Plast® products with a focus on innovation and reliability at Drinktec in München beginning 11 September.
The System Plast products maintain leadership in efficiency, noise reduction, hygiene, total cost of ownership, and lubrication reduction. The innovative TopTrac™ curve design is the best available solution in the market when it comes to total cost of ownership (TCO).
When replacement is due, this can be accomplished leaving the curve assembly in position in the conveyor, and only changing the high-performance Nolu®-SR wear strips. This drastically reduces downtime and maintenance cost. Besides, the more homogeneous magnetic field results in a quieter chain operation and less energy consumption.
Condition monitoring will be another important topic at Drinktec. A new device that will be on display is a step forward towards Industry 4.0. The device and the service that Regal is offering along with that, will help end-users understand how the condition of their bottling line is developing and enable them to react in time and keep efficiency at the desired high level.
New System Plast machined sprockets, with bushings instead of nuts, combine a user-friendly design with optimum performance. They feature a reduced number of holes, providing better hygiene and easier access, as well as zero nut rotation and optimum absorption of shear forces resulting in increased strength.
Other new sprockets on display are the upgraded molded sprockets for the popular 2250 series modular belts. The upgrade includes some nice features that make installation much more user friendly. It also offers improved stability.
The innovative Silent Nose Bar offers noise reduction when used at the idler side of a conveyor; up to a 5dB reduction compared to conventional nose bars or round shafts. This results in a significant improvement of the line operator’s working environment. Its low coefficient of friction and short transfer possibilities also address other customer issues such as line efficiency and cost savings.
The new Micro-pitch belt also uses a silent nose bar to keep noise levels at a minimum, which usually is a challenge especially with these short pitch modular belts that run at high rpm. A new micro clip design makes installation and maintenance easier than ever before.
System Plast® products enable customers to achieve sustainability while lowering their total cost of ownership. Regal® is a global leader in high quality plastic conveyor chains, modular plastic belts, and industry-leading conveying components.
Regal will also exhibit a SealMaster® maintenance-free high phosphorous nickel plated bearing insert that requires no re-greasing. The land riding design ensures that the H1 Food Grade grease is in the ball path and a High Performance (triple) Seal keeps dirt and moisture out. The Skwezloc® shaft locking collar ensures near perfect concentricity.
SealMaster PN Gold line will be on display. The range includes metric bore sizes for mounted ball bearings (20 to 60 mm) and “ER” cylindrical OD ball bearings (20mm to 60mm). Designed with brewery chemical and cleaning solutions in mind, they are equipped with patented multiple-lip seals and specialty coatings, and available with features like bolt-on end caps and backside shields that enable them to deliver industry-leading service life and performance. Solid base housings on SealMaster PN Gold bearings are machined from 316 stainless steel or high-strength composite with minimal gaps for fillings. Stainless steel bolt ferrules reinforce the bolt holes on composite bases for high load capacity and strength.
