The new flexible dosing system (FDS) from HECHT is a hygienic, product-gentle dosing system used for metering in the product stream.
It can be integrated in almost every filling station. Up to the product a precision of a few grams can be reached.
The innovation of the dosing system is the shut-off mechanism of the product flow. There is no product contact with all mechanically moving parts, making it easy to clean.
By squeezing the product hose, the product flow can be reduced and the system can be completely closed if necessary.
The dosing parameters are entered at a control unit.
In coarse flow mode, the squeezing mechanism opens up to the adjustable stops. This can be the maximum nominal width of the device.
In fine flow mode, the squeezing mechanism is closed on one side.
Towards the end of filling, two pneumatically controlled bars press against the flexible hose. When the target value is reached, the squeezing mechanism closes completely. This shuts off the product flow.
A dosing up to an accuracy of a few grams is possible.
Benefits of the new system include its hygienic design with no corners and edges. It has a high discharge capacity, as the entire cross-section of the product guide hose is available.
There is no product adhesion due to the movement of the hose.
