Palsgaard, a leading specialist in the manufacture of emulsifiers, stabilisers and other specialised ingredients for the food industry, has been awarded with the 2010 Grupo Bimbo Supplier of the Year Award. The award was presented to Palsgaard at a ceremony at Grupo Bimbo’s Barcel plant in Toluca, Mexico, on 30 November 2010.
Javier Gonzalez, director of Bimbo, explained why Palsgaard was chosen to receive the distinction: “With this award, Grupo Bimbo recognises Palsgaard for their supply of quality products, their level of technical service and their innovation capacity, which has contributed to Grupo Bimbo fulfilling our objectives. Palsgaard, renowned as a safe and clean company, has demonstrated commitment to the environment and to their social responsibility activities.”
For several years Grupo Bimbo has been selecting from more than one thousand suppliers the company that best demonstrates the high standards established by the bakery firm.
