OrganicaWorld to build hydroponic greenhouse facilities in Florida, US

US-based company OrganicaWorld has started construction of two 350,000ft² hydroponic greenhouse facilities in Groveland, Florida.

The company explained that the demand for organic food has grown by 72% in the US since 2008, and it will be constructing these plants using cutting-edge organic growing technology to cater this growing demand.

At its new greenhouses, the company intends to grow more than 30 verities of fresh vegetables, as well as rare medicinal plants and innovative hybrid varieties.

It further claims that all its greenhouses are equipped to grow every single non-GMO seed without using pesticides or chemicals.

OrganicaWorld further added that it will be using its hydroponic techniques, in order to ensure that every plant is grown in a controlled environment, which would enable them to surpass traditional farming by 3,000%.

They also plan to expand their operations by building greenhouses facilities on 1,200 acres over the next five years.

In addition, OrganicaWorld is also planning to open its first consumer direct OrganicaWorld farm market in February.

It anticipates that the fresh market approach would bring healthy and more affordable food direct to the public.

OrganicaWorld CEO Colin Farnum further added that the company's greenhouses with adjoining farm markets can be opened up in every major market in the US by using this business model.
