Deals this week: Britannia Industries, The International Finance Corporation

Britannia Industries has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Greece-based food company Chipita.

India-based Britannia Industries will produce rolls, croissants and other dough products under the MOU to meet rising urban demand.

The company also plans to establish a joint venture with Chipita.

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has announced its plans to invest $10m in The PAN Group Joint Stock Company.

IFC is an investment, asset management and advisory services provider based in the US.

Vietnamese agribusiness and food company The Pan Group plans to use the funds towards its expansion plans.
