Julie’s Organic launches three new ice cream products

US-based Julie’s Organic has expanded its product line with the introduction of two new ice cream bars, Mint Chip and Mixed Berry Chip, as well as one new ice cream sandwich range, Fudge Swirl 100-calorie square.

The company noted that all its products are made with organic milk and cream, as well as contain no artificial sweeteners such as erythritol, which can be found in some low-calorie ice creams.

The milk and cream used in its products are claimed to be procured from cows, which are not treated with the artificial growth hormone rBST or antibiotics.

Julie’s Organic marketing vice-president Michelle Hunt said: “People want better-for-you options, and they know that better-for-you isn’t only about achieving the lowest calorie count.

“At Julie’s, we’re committed to making treats that do it all: delivering delicious snacks with a range of calories, always made with clean, organic ingredients, and nothing artificial.

“Our newest items do exactly that so you can find your perfect fit.”

The new treats bring healthy indulgence to portion-control snacking, with only 100-120 calories and organic ingredients.

The Mint Chip and Mixed Berry ice cream bars will be available in four-packs, and each bar will contain 120 calories.

Mixed Berry contains organic strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries swirled into rich, organic ice cream, and sprinkled with dark chocolate chips, while the Mint Chip contains mint ice cream sprinkled with dark chocolate chips.

To be sold in eight-packs, the Fudge Swirl ice cream sandwich combines dark chocolate fudge with a milk chocolate base, which is then sandwiched between two chocolate wafers.

Starting this month, the new four-pack bars and eight-pack sandwiches will be available at selected natural food stores across the US with suggested retail prices (SRP) of $4.99-$7.99.
