Kraft Could Raise Cadbury Bid, Report Says

Kraft could raise its offer for Cadbury if rival offers are raised, according to Reuters.

Kraft has offered Cadbury shareholders $16.8bn for a hostile takeover which has spurred interest from other chocolatiers, such as Hershey and Nestle.

Kraft hasn’t named its current offer as its final just yet, according to a source, who could not be named due to their relationship with the companies.

The Cadbury board has said Kraft’s current offer undermines the value of the second-largest confectionary company in the world.
