Zhongpin Pork Plant Starts in China

Chinese meat and food processing company Zhongpin has started production at its new pork products plant in Changge, Henan province.

The company said the Changge plant will have an annual capacity of 36,000t for prepared pork products.

The Changge plant will supply pork to retail locations, restaurant chains, hotels and other institutional customers in several regional markets in China.
