Kraft to Cut Salt in Foods by 10%

Kraft Foods said it will cut the use of salt in its food sold in North America by 10% over the next two years.

The move could see the company remove more than ten million pounds of salt from its most popular products.

Kraft has been working on cutting sodium levels for the last couple of years.

This follows soft-drink maker PepsiCo’s decision to stop sales of full-sugar soft drinks to primary and secondary schools on a global scale by 2012.
