China Marine Food Q4 Profit Leaps

China Marine Food Group has reported an 85% increase in Q4 2009 revenue of $24.9m compared to the same period in 2008, the company said.

The snack food manufacturer said the company’s gross profit in the quarter was $5.8m, up 54.7% from Q4 2008.

The group has reported a 74.1% increase in quarterly net income of $4.4m compared to the same time a year earlier.

Revenue in 2009 was $69.6m, up 42.6% from the year ended 31 December 2008.

The company said it completed a new manufacturing facility during Q3 2009 which increased capacity from 10,000t to 20,000t per annum.
